IBRC admits 77 pay-off letters were misdirected

The Special Liquidators of the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC) have confirmed a personal data breach involving some of the bank's current and former staff.

The Special Liquidators of the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC) have confirmed a personal data breach involving some of the bank's current and ex-staff after letters, which included cheques, were sent to the wrong people.

Earlier this month, letters were issued with a payment, by way of cheque, in lieu of statutory minimum notice. Of these, 77 were "misdirected".
