IAWS to refinance €186m debt in private placement

Agribusiness company IAWS is refinancing $250 million (€186 million) in debt through a private placement in the United States.

Agribusiness company IAWS is refinancing $250 million (€186 million) in debt through a private placement in the United States.

It is understood that the company is involved in refinancing a portion of its debt into longer-term funding following its takeover of Otis Spunkmeyer last year.

Bank of America Securities is arranging the private placement, which is expected to be in seven, ten and 12-year tranches.
