IADA celebrates 50 years of antiques fair

20th September, 2015
The IADA antiques fair is at the RDS in Ballsbridge, Dublin 2

Watching Irish antiques flow out of Ireland back in 1966, Louis O’Sullivan thought it might be an idea to have an annual antiques fair. This week, 15,000 people are expected to attend the Irish Antique Dealers Association Golden Jubilee Fair. For decades, the goods were strictly antique. With an eye on younger collectors, the fair now offers a mix of antique, 20th century modern and contemporary artworks.
