An exhibition of more than 70 black and white photographs by photojournalist Tom Stoddart will go on display in the Gallery of Photography in Dublin on Friday.

The exhibition, titled iWitness, catalogues some of the worst humanitarian disasters the world has seen in the last 15 years.

Stoddart said most of the events chronicled could be attributed directly to mankind's greed, intolerance, inhumanity or lust for power.
