Hughes interested in Borders shop

Derek Hughes, owner of the Hughes & Hughes book chain, has expressed an interest in buying the Blanchardstown shop of US giant Borders.

The American company is selling its Irish business as a going concern after only five months in operation. Borders announced its decision to sell the Irish and British branches of the company last week.
