Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC said sales are likely to miss analyst estimates for a second straight quarter as new models fail to spur demand.
The company posted its first loss on record last month. It said in a statement today that fourth-quarter revenue will be between NT$40 billion ($1.4 billion) and NT$45 billion. That trailed the NT$52.2 billion average of 21 analysts’ estimates compiled by Bloomberg.
