HSE threatens to remove a ‘small cohort’ of Impact staff from payroll

Some 500 members of Impact will be targeted by the Health Service Executive (HSE) when it begins the process of removing staff from the payroll this week.

The HSE’s national director of human resources, Sean McGrath, said the union was being ‘‘strangled’’ by an estimated 500 Impact members who had gone over and above the work to rule action and were simply ‘‘not doing their jobs’’.
