HSE inquiry widens to include tendering process

The Health Service Executive (HSE) has extended its investigation into the awarding of contracts in north Dublin to include all tendering procedures.

The HSE launched an internal inquiry into the awarding of contracts to two Dublin building companies last month.

However, a spokeswoman for the HSE’s Dublin North East division confirmed that the inquiry had been broadened in recent days to ‘‘all contracting and tendering procedures in north Dublin’’.
