HSBC fund unit to move from New York to Dublin, say reports

HSBC Holdings, Europe’s largest bank, will move a fund administration unit to Dublin from New York to control costs, according to a *Bloomberg* report citing a person with knowledge of the situation.

HSBC Holdings, Europe’s largest bank, will move a fund administration unit to Dublin from New York to control costs, according to a *Bloomberg* report citing a person with knowledge of the situation.

The move was also reported in the *Wall Street Journal* although there is no indication yet as to how many jobs the move may create in Dublin.

As many as 200 jobs in the operations unit may be eliminated and employees...
