Stick to natural sugar. Artificial sweeteners found in diet soft drinks and processed snack foods are made from chemicals, with dubious reputations for possible links to certain cancers. As with most things, natural is best - and unrefined is even better. Try unprocessed turbinado or demerara sugars, or agave nectar for your next indulgence.
