Peadar Gormley is chief executive of MyPlace Connect. The Dublin company launched in 2011, offering businesses free wi-fi services for their customers. The company works with bars, restaurants, cafes, shopping centres, sports venues and transport hubs. It employs eight staff.

We originally started as a washroom advertising company and decided to diversify and explore more export-focused opportunities. We felt then and still do now that wifi is a powerful platform for engaging customers and building loyalty.
