Housing co-operative eyes up further Nama deals

The National Association of Building Co-operatives is in discussions to finance the acquisition of a series of unfinished residential estates from Nama.

The National Association of Building Co-operatives (Nabco), the home-ownership co-operative, is in discussions to finance the acquisition of a series of unfinished residential estates from the National Asset Management Agency.

Nabco is in discussions with British-based fund managers, as well as a number of Irish credit unions, to jointly fund the purchase of hundreds of units under Nama control, Nabco chief executive Niall O'Keeffe told *The Sunday Business Post*.
