A restored Gothic style stately house built by Thomas Lefroy in 1837, Carrigglas Manor is set on 600 acres of meadow and woodland five kilometres north of Longford town.

The property has been in the Lefroy family since it was built and the estate is currently undergoing a €160 million development project by Kearns Development to incorporate luxury homes, a Retief Goosen-designed golf course, and a Carlton four-star hotel and country club within the walled estate.
