Insurers will see the cost of household insurance claims fall by almost 6 per cent next year, according to a new report.

The report from OSG, which provides outsourcing services to the insurance sector and financial services firms, predicted the cost of household insurance claims (rather than the number of claims) would fall by 5.33 per cent this year and drop by a further 5.83 per cent in 2010.The report attributed the fall in claims costs...
