Household Charge: 363,000 now registered
UPDATE: Just 5,100 additional registrations for the Household Charge occurred this afternoon, leaving 1.3 million households yet to pay.
According to new figures from the Local Government Management Agency (LGMA), just 35,000 additional households registered for the Household Charge over the weekend and today.
According to the LGMA, 363,478 properties were registered for the charge as of 4pm today.
The figure does not include "approximately €2.5 million of postal applications" that are "on hand to be processed", according to the LGMA.
