House works gets its house in order

Up market furniture retailer Houseworks has invested €2 million to expand and upgrade showrooms in Cork and Dublin. The company completed work on one of two projects to revamp its Cork showroom last month.

Up market furniture retailer Houseworks has invested €2 million to expand and upgrade showrooms in Cork and Dublin. The company completed work on one of two projects to revamp its Cork showroom last month.

The Douglas facility remained open for business throughout the six-month project, which increased floor space from 350 square metres to 750 square metres.

In Dublin, the company began work on its showroom on Erne Street in late 2007, more than trebling floor space...
