Hotels on the move as market remains lively
Hotel sales in 2013 is continuing this year with the addition of landmark hotels and resorts like Doonbeg and Dublin's Westin, writes Tina-Marie O'Neill.
The Irish hotel sector is continuing to experience a flurry of activity following on from about €200 million worth of transactions last year.
Hotel sales in the region of €140 million were forecast for 2014 late last year based on deals in the pipeline. Last week’s entry of Dublin’s exclusive five-star Westin to the market with a quoting price of €60 million from agent Knight Frank will help boost those early estimates.
