Two thirds of hoteliers across the country expect business this year to be well ahead of last year, according to the latest tourism industry barometer survey by Failte Ireland.

Two thirds of hoteliers across the country expect business this year to be well ahead of last year, according to the latest tourism industry barometer survey by Failte Ireland.

But the decline at the lower end of the market continues, with bed and breakfast operators most acutely hit. Just 14 per cent of B&B operators said they expected to perform better this year, with 48 per cent saying that they would fare worse.
