More than 25 property developers and hoteliers have approached the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) about buying the two Great Southern hotel sites in Galway.

The Eyre Square and Corrib hotels have attracted more interest than any other hotels in the chain, including the flagship hotel at Dublin airport, according to industry sources.
