HMV to meet consumer watchdog over vouchers

The National Consumer Agency is to meet the receiver for HMV Ireland this week to discuss possible solutions for voucher-holders.

The National Consumer Agency (NCA) is to meet the receiver for HMV Ireland this week to discuss possible solutions for voucher-holders.

David Carson, a partner in Deloitte Ireland, was named as receiver to HMV Ireland last Wednesday, after HMV's British operation went into administration earlier in the week. HMV operates 16 stores in the Republic and employs approximately 300 people here.
