Historic Parnell pub reopens following €1 million refurbishment

One of Dublin's oldest pubs has reopened after a €1 million refurbishment by Eddie Fitzgerald, the son of publican Louis Fitzgerald.

One of Dublin's oldest pubs has reopened after a €1 million refurbishment by Eddie Fitzgerald, the son of publican Louis Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald bought the Parnell Mooney pub, off O'Connell Street, for around €1 million in 2010, and reopened it as the Parnell Heritage pub and grill ten days ago, creating 23 new jobs.
