HIQA names Savita inquiry team

The Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) has released details of the investigation team that will look into the circumstances around the death in Galway of Savita Halappanavar.

The Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) has released details of the investigation team that will look into the circumstances around the death in Galway of Savita Halappanavar.

Apart from Hiqa staff, only two members of the team are from this jurisdiction: Dr Robert Cunney, from Temple Street Hospital in Dublin and patient advocate Loretta Evans.
