Mealy's two-day sale this week offers the library of the 18th-century High Sheriff of Tipperary Richard Moore, known as the Ricardi Moore Collection - Moore signed his name in Latin on the flyleaf of each book.

Here, we have every subject under the 18th-century sun. Moore was a Swift fan (there's a medallion portrait of the Dean sans wig, estimate €4,000-€6,000), but his passion was science.
