High earners in the line of fire

The minister has introduced new measures for high earners - and there is more to come

The tax regime on high earners has been changed significantly over recent years and there were significant changes flagged in Budget 2010.

Two groups will mainly be affected - tax exiles and those earning more than €125,000 a year who have significant income sheltered due to tax reliefs.

We will have to wait for the Finance Bill before we get full details of how these measures will be applied, but there are indications of how they...
