High Court rules Quinn lawsuits against IBRC may continue

The High Court today ruled that legal actions against the former Anglo-Irish Bank (IBRC), including those by the Quinn family, may proceed.

The High Court today ruled that legal actions against the former Anglo-Irish Bank, including those by the Quinn family, may proceed.

High Court judge Sean Ryan delivered the judgement today.

His decision means that the family of Sean Quinn can pursue legal action against the former Anglo Irish Bank. The Quinn family are seeking to deny liability for €2.34 billion in loans given to Quinn family companies from Anglo Irish Bank.
