High Court rules in favour of Bewley's in rent review case

The High Court has ruled that the rent payable by Bewley's on Grafton Street to its landlord, Ickendel, should reflect market rates.

The High Court has ruled that the rent payable by Bewley's on Grafton Street to its landlord, Ickendel, should reflect market rates.

Mr. Justice Charleton ruled that the rent payable by Bewley’s Grafton Street to the Johnny Ronan controlled Ickendel must be allowed to fall to reflect market rates under the provisions of the lease.

A statement from Bewley’s welcomed the decision of the High Court.
