Hibernia Reit pays €41.8m to take direct ownership of two D2 offices

Initially acquired an interest in the buildings in May 2014

Hibernia Reit has has exercised its option to take direct ownership of Hardwicke House and Montague House in Dublin 2 for a net payment of €41.8 million (excluding costs).

The real estate trust initially acquired an interest in the buildings via secured loans for €18.2 million in May 2014 with an option to take full ownership at any time up to mid-2016.

By exercising the option, Hibernia has paid a total of €60 million for the properties...
