At a conference held in Stockholm last week, international sponsors pledged more than $940 million for the reconstruction of war-torn Lebanon.

This brought the total pledged by the international community to $1.2 billion and makes up one third of the $3.6 billion Lebanon’s government estimated the 34-day war between Hezbollah and Israel cost the state.
