Herald and Sunday World to be integrated

The Herald brand is being retained under plans to integrate the operations of both that title and the Sunday World, as announced by Independent News & Media (INM).

As part of this latest stage in ongoing consolidation plans at INM, 13 voluntary redundancies are being sought among staff over both publications.

Staff were told that the redundancy terms would be two weeks’ salary per year of service on top of statutory redundancy.
