Heineken Ireland posts 2011 share growth

Heineken Ireland has said it outperformed the 2011 beer market with organic growth of 0.2 share points and two per cent revenue growth, while the overall market contracted 1.9 per cent.

Heineken Ireland has said it outperformed the 2011 beer market with organic growth of 0.2 share points and two per cent revenue growth, while the overall market contracted 1.9 per cent.

The company now holds 26.5 per cent of the beer market primarily driven by strong performances from both the Heineken and Coors Light brands, with Coors Light gaining eight per cent.

David Forde, Managing Director, Heineken Ireland described the results as "very positive" in a depressed trading environment.
