Irish supermarket chain Superquinn is investing €500,000 in new technology at two warehouses in Dublin.

Irish supermarket chain Superquinn is investing €500,000 in new technology at two warehouses in Dublin.

The retailer has awarded a contract to Heavey RF, a provider of mobile technology solutions, to install voice-picking equipment at two chill and frozen facilities in Blanchardstown and Dublin Port.

The deal follows an existing contract, agreed with Heavey RF in 2006, to implement voice-picking technology at the Blanchardstown facility.
