Ireland will get its first Care and Mobility Show this year, on foot of a new business partnership between a Cork-based entrepreneur with a background in rehabilitation equipment and a publisher and event organiser based in Kilkenny.

The event, taking place in Dublin's RDS on June 13 and 14, is expected to attract 150 exhibitors and up to 8,000 visitors, according to Adam Lingard, who established Medcare Events with publisher Philip McGaley last November.
