Harry Potter to shake up kid’s book market

Senior figures in the Irish book industry are expecting strong sales across other children’s titles following the launch of the final book in the Harry Potter series.

However, booksellers are expecting only a slight lift in sales - or no increase at all - across general titles. The final instalment in JK Rowling’s series about a young wizard’s magical adventures went on sale at midnight last Friday.
