Your anonymous column, Backroom, last week attempted to rubbish the five-month record of the Tánaiste in the health portfolio. It's easy to do, when you start out with a false premise - in this case, that the Tánaiste promised quick fixes, early successes and cost-free reform. In fact, from the start the Tánaiste said there were no quick fixes and that health would require continued investment.
