Harlequin Healthcare Holdings is believed to have offered €65 million to buy Mount Carmel hospital in Dublin.

The private healthcare consortium has emerged as the preferred bidder for the maternity hospital after months of negotiations. It now plans to raise €100 million in funding to finance developments at its existing hospitals and fund new hospital projects.
