Irish International Trading Corporation (IITC), a Cork hardware wholesaler, increased its operating profits by more than 180 per cent to €1.2 million for 2003.

The firm has more than 250 shareholders and sells steel, hardware, plumbing materials, and wire. It also saw its turnover increase by €4 million to almost €32 million for the year, according to accounts just filed with the Companies Registration Office (CRO).
