Hardware merchants across the country are seeing an improvement in business activity for the first time since the onset of the recession, a survey has shown.

Hardware merchants across the country are seeing an improvement in business activity for the first time since the onset of the recession, a survey has found.

The survey of Hardware Association Ireland (HAI) members, found that 52 per cent of merchants reported better performance in the past 12 months, almost double the figure recorded since last year’s survey.
