Our Lady of Mercy Convent in Blackrock, Co Dublin, commonly known as Carysfort College, was a primary school teacher training college for Catholic girls from 1877 until it closed in 1988. Located on Carysfort Avenue, the original parkland campus owned by the Sisters of Mercy extended to some 90 acres or so, about 20 of which were sold to the state and are now the location of the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
