The owners of the Hammond Lane Metal Company, which had the contract to clean up the former Irish Steel site at Haulbowline in Co Cork, took a €30 million dividend from the business after the contract ended. Hammond Lane paid a dividend of €30.5million for 2009, compared with a €200,000 dividend the previous year.
