Talk softly, but carry a big stick. Finance minister Brian Lenihan will summon the board of Irish Nationwide Building Society (INBS) to his office later this week for the latest episode in carving out the embattled society’s future. But the signs are that his patience is wearing thin.
Lenihan held stiff discussions last week with the two so-called ‘‘public interest’’ directors he had appointed as part of last September’s government guarantee scheme....
