Guinness Storehouse gets record visitors in 2012

The Guinness Storehouse, Ireland's top tourist attraction, saw 1,087,209 guests pass through its doors in the last 12 months, smashing the previous record of 1,038,910, set in 2008.

The Guinness Storehouse, Ireland's top tourist attraction, saw 1,087,209 guests pass through its doors in the last 12 months, smashing the previous record of 1,038,910, set in 2008.

This meant a six per cent increase on 2011 visitor numbers. The busiest month of the year was August with 121,182 visitors, making it the busiest month on record at the Storehouse.

The Guinness Storehouse has attracted visitors from over 25 different countries including the US, Canada, Germany, Italy and further afield.
