Guinness will need to spend more than €150 million on its Irish brewing operations in the near future, as its brewing assets reach the end of a 25-year life cycle.

Guinness will need to spend more than €150 million on its Irish brewing operations in the near future, as its brewing assets reach the end of a 25-year life cycle.

A review examining the future of St James’s Gate and the brand’s other brewing operations will be completed in January and has prompted speculation that the company may sell the valuable land, rather than re-invest further in the landmark site.
