The Guardian's new look has been well received, as one might expect after an outlay of over stg£80 million, writes Catherine O'Mahony.

The Berliner format Guardian has colour on all its pages now, plus a full daily sports section with 12 pages. There are also lots of stories on the front page. But it's not all good. The new fancy blue masthead is about a quarter way down the page.
