The residential market in Limerick performed well in 2006 with strong growth in the first half of the year.

The residential market in Limerick performed well in 2006 with strong growth in the first half of the year.

However, increased interest rates caused a slight tapering off in the last six months of the year.

‘‘Like other regions in Munster, the first six months proved particularly strong,” said Diarmuid Madigan, director of Sherry FitzGerald O’Malley.
