Five groups vying for a new multi-city radio licence are proposing to invest between €4 million and €10 million on the over-45s station.

Most of the applicants are opting for a ‘golden oldies’ format and expect to make a profit after several years, with revenue projections varying considerably. The service will cover Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and County Clare.
