Gresham in talks to sell three European hotels

Bryan Cullen, the multi-millionaire property developer who owns the Gresham Hotel Group, is in talks to sell three of the chain’s international hotels for between €70 million and €80 million.

Cullen has entered talks to offload Gresham’s hotels in Hamburg, Brussels and Amsterdam to a consortium of Irish investors. The move forms part of the developer’s strategy to concentrate on the group’s Irish and British operations.

The consortium trying to buy the hotels includes a number of businessmen who teamed up to buy the Great Southern hotels from the state last year for €75 million. They are Co Louth...
