The Green Party has been buoyed by an opinion poll in the CarlowKilkenny constituency which shows its deputy leader Mary White in a strong position to take a seat in the forthcoming general election.

The Green Party has been buoyed by an opinion poll in the CarlowKilkenny constituency which shows its deputy leader Mary White in a strong position to take a seat in the forthcoming general election.

The poll, in last week’s Carlow Nationalist newspaper, was conducted by Red C among over 500 voters.

It used a simulated ballot paper at 32 places in the constituency. It shows White taking the fourth of the constituency’s five seats,...
