The Green Party is preparing a legal challenge to the National Development Plan (NDP) over its failure to make up to €3 billion EU-funded projects more environmentally friendly.

Dan Boyle, finance spokesman of the Green Party, said it would insist on renegotiating key aspects of the NDP if it was asked to form a part of the next government.
