Greencore shares rise as revenue grows 7.2%
UPDATE: Food group Greencore recorded revenue of £320.5 million for the 13 weeks to 27 December 2013, an increase of 7.2 per cent compared to the same period in 2012.
Food group Greencore recorded revenue of £320.5 million for the 13 weeks to 27 December 2013, an increase of 7.2 per cent compared to the same period in 2012.
The company, whose share price has risen 3.6 per cent today so far, released an interim statement earlier ahead of its annual general meeting today.
That statement showed revenue growth was 9 per cent, with the company's convenience foods division recording revenue of £305.6m, 6.9 per cent higher than in the prior year.
