After a $4.5 billion criminal settlement last month, BP faces a civil liability trial relating to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010.

The oil company stands firm that it was "not grossly negligent" in the accident that caused the worst environmental disaster in US history, which also claimed the lives of 11 workers. The trial begins tomorrow.
